The BEST Gel Polish

Everyone is going to have their own opinion on this but, I feel like I have stumbled across quite literally the best gel nail polish IN THE WORLD. And I’m going to tell you what it is.

I won’t bore you with my life story, but a few years ago I was really struggling to pay for nail products and went searching for the cheapest gel polish on ebay. Coming in at a grand total of £2.50 with the multi buy discount I found this gem… CANNI. at that price point I didn’t have very high hopes but as soon as the little brush layed the first swipe on the nail, I was hooked.

Is this real life? How did I find this? What’s the catch? You know when things seem too good to be true, they usually are. But this my friends is a genuine stroke of good fortune in finding a seriously underrated product. Now I don’t want to big them up too much because I’m not sure they even know how good their products are, and we don’t want them raising their prices but let’s look at the pros and cons

Pros

Coverage – every single color has intense coverage. Some other brands differ between shades, some being creamy,others being sort of like a clear gel with pigment through it. Not Canni. Literally every single color is as though they added the pigment to their already fantastic white gel polish. Which brings me to my next point…

WHITE GEL POLISH – it seriously covers in 1-2 coats and it self levels! If you have ever used a white gel polish you will know the struggle of thin, translucent patchy results. With other brands, I have layered the white gel so many times trying to get that perfect finish that the nail loses all of its original shape and resembles the 100 layer nail polish challenge of 2015. The first time I used Canni white gel polish number 023, I literally gasped. Even clients comment on how well it covers. I won’t buy anything else now and if they ever change the formula or stop selling it…I may never paint another white nail again. Which will suit me just fine because if I cant have the best, I want nothing.

Curing – You might be thinking that a gel polish that is so highly pigmented may have trouble curing. I’ve experienced this with several other brands, the wrinking wet polish underneath a hard layer. Never have I had this happen with Canni. Even with the black! I don’t know what to tell you, they obviously know their stuff and have that formula down to a tee.

Lasting results – I don’t exclusively use Canni for my gel polish colors. Thats purely because I bought a lot of polishes before I found canni and I’m not throwing away hundreds of pounds worth of products just because they need an extra layer or two. Also I am a bit of a hoarder when it comes to nail stuff. But what I do use for every single nail service I provide is the Canni base and top coat. My clients are always shocked at how well my gel polish manicures last and most only have them replaced after 4 weeks. I know this has a lot to do with preparation and application but I feel like I could even slip in those departments and still get long lasting results..

Topcoat – I wasn’t sure wether to touch in this or not but I will. The diamond topcoat is just that…like a diamond. That stuff is indestructible. Even after 4 weeks, the shine is like day one. Its Scratch resistant and non yellowing. What more do you want?
