List of Everything: Pedicure edition

How do you know what to use for a pedicure? I guess it depends on what your goals are. Do you want to remove lashings of hard skin? Or just paint the nails with pretty colors?

Read on to see all of your options in the “List of everything- Pedicure”

If you’re just looking to tidy up the nails and paint them, you only need a few things. You can use a foot file on the dry skin of the foot if you like, just apply moisturizer at the end.

BASIC PEDI

  • Cuticle pusher
  • Cuticle softener
  • Nail clippers
  • Foot file (optional)
  • Moisturizer
  • Nail file
  • Acetone
  • Lint free wipes
  • Base coat & Top coat (gel or varnish)
  • Colored polish (gel or varnish)
  • Cuticle oil
  • LED Lamp (if using gel)
If you want to take it up a notch but  don’t have space for a water based foot spa, you way want to consider a waterless system like Balbcare/Brazzcare . It’s a pedicure sock filled with a lovely teatree lotion that softens the skin and smells amazing.

WATERLESS PEDI

Below you will see that the list is similar to the first, except the waterless pedicure boots replace the cuticle softener.  You can opt to use a footfile on problem hard skin areas before OR after soaking in the teatree solution.

  • Cuticle pusher
  • Balbcare waterless pedicure boots
  • 2/3 small towels
  • Nail clippers
  • Foot file (optional)
  • Nail file
  • Acetone
  • Lint free wipes
  • Base coat & Top coat (gel or varnish)
  • Colored polish (gel or varnish)
  • Cuticle oil
  • LED Lamp (if using gel)
The best pedicures are done by soaking the feet in a fragrant, soapy water before scrubbing, scraping and moisturizing the skin, cutting the nails, removing the cuticles, cleaning the nail surface and if desired a nice polish. These are the things you’ll need for a full on spa experience.

SPA PEDI

  • Foot spa
  • 2/3 small towels
  • Foot soaking soap
  • Exfoliating scrub
  • Massage lotion
  • Cuticle pusher
  • Nail clippers
  • Foot file
  • Moisturizer
  • Nail file
  • Acetone
  • Lint free wipes
  • Base coat & Top coat (gel or varnish)
  • Colored polish (gel or varnish)
  • Cuticle oil
  • LED Lamp (if using gel)

And there you have it. Of course there are other things you may want, like essential oils or something to fancy it up but now you have got all the building blocks to beautiful feet.
